Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly when you complete an enquiry form, call us, message us or enroll in a program. Depending on which, that may include:
- Name, phone number, email address and state of residence
- Approximate or exact debt balances, creditor names and account status
- Income, expenses and employment details needed to build a budget
- Where a program requires it, bank account details for scheduled deposits
- Correspondence you send us, including letters from creditors, courts or the IRS
We also collect limited technical information automatically when you browse this site: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring URL. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.
Why we use it
We use your information to assess your situation and produce your written comparison, to administer any program you choose to enroll in, to communicate with you about your file, to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, and to improve our services.
Where you have given consent, we may contact you by phone, text or email about your enquiry, including by automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase and you can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to a text, unsubscribing from an email, or telling us by phone.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to do what you have asked us to do:
- With creditors and their agents, when negotiating on your behalf
- With lending partners, when you ask us to check rates or arrange a loan
- With payment processors and dedicated account providers administering program deposits
- With professional advisers, auditors and regulators where legally required
- With service providers who host this site and our systems, under contract and on our instructions
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months where no program follows. Client files are retained for the duration of the program and for a further seven years, or longer where a legal or regulatory obligation requires it.
How we protect it
Data is stored on access-controlled systems, transmitted over encrypted connections, and available only to personnel who need it for your file. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and the relevant authorities if a breach affecting your data occurs, as required by law.
Your rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — note that we do not sell it

This site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
